Thanks to our guide; Ben, the tour was extremely informative & an amazing insight into Victoria's Gold Rush history & what life would have been like for the miners as well as the rest of the community during the late 1800's & early 1900's.
The museum is also definitely worth a look too.
Whilst there is car parking available near the mine entrance, it is only a short walk up the road from the centre of town or you could take the scenic route along the Tramline Walkway that is nestled into the side of the mountain overlooking the entire town.
You absolutely cannot visit Walhalla without taking the mine tour!
