No, not the most fancy rooms at the Ningaloo Reef Resort, but they are clean, large enough and come with a large patio or balcony with chairs and table and all have ocean view (some more than others). Great staff. Ask for something and they'll be there in 5 minutes!. We were lucky to stay for a week in the Grand Suite, a 6-8 persons apartment with washer and dryer (no dishwasher) and a very large masterbedroom. A/c in the livingroom/kitchen area and smaller bedroom. Best of all a very privately located 40 spm terras with BBQ and best views on the coral reef. The restaurant serves good food but we frequented the take-away. Our apartment was located far from the cosy bar-area with lots of tables and chairs, a nice gazebo and a good pool. It was fun visiting the bar and occasionally they had live music. Also great coffee every morning. The resort is just steps away from the white beaches and the turquoise coral reef.
The Grand was AUD 205,-- per day but easily sleeps 6.
I highly recommend this laid back resort but there are plans to replace it by a larger one so: Save Ningalo Reef, Save the resort.
