Owner description: The first Winery you come to on State Highway 53 as you enter Martinborough. Look for the white gates on your left. We offer tastings and sales 7 days a week. In Summer, our Chef prepares beautiful fresh platters and lunch offerings to match with our wines. Enjoy a glass or two and friendly game of Petanque in the sun.

Well appointed wine tasting venue with acceptable wines Pinot was a bit on the light forward side. Host was unenthusiastic but knowledgeable. Try other sites also with a more positive attitude Great area for wine tasting

Three couples on a weekend wine trip without kids. This was our first vineyard stop and the lovely french women on the front desk was just opening up shop. Really informative chat over the tastings.

After we finished the days circuit of other vineyards we had to go back to Palliser for the Chardonnay.

We had a lovely wine tasting at Palliser Estate. Tastings cost $5, which is deductible from any wine purchases (which are hard to resist). Our host was very knowledgeable and friendly. The cellar door opens at 10.30am, while many others seem to open at 11.00am (was a good place to start as we had limited time).
Just saw on the website that there is a cooking school - might have to head back for this another time.

We tasted five wines and really enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir 2016. Enjoyed the presentation and felt no pressure to purchase any wine. We did purchased one bottle due to packing it in over stuffed luggage. When we opened our bottle of Pinot we wished we threw away our clothing and brought more home with us.
We had a light bite to eat in the lovely outdoor setting.

The wines were nice, especially the Sauvignon Blanc. The tastings were very generous and the server very pleasant.
