We four had each a very good lunch. From a risotto special, seafood chowder, and a pasta with prawns all were pleased. A nice selection of wines from the region.
Outdoor seating, but we elected to eat inside as there were smokers outside!

I have eaten here many times and I have never been anything less than delighted with the food. On this occasion I had the lamb tagine. Everything about this dish was delicious, from the olives to the harissa, to the succulent lamb. I have no idea how they make cous cous taste so good. A word of warning, everything is cooked to order and there is usually a substantial wait time. But the service is professional and the food it's always worth the wait.

Enjoyed a lovely brunch with fellow cityslickers. Despite being the day after the Martinborough Fair, it was still very busy. The food was amazing and service outstanding. Perfect way to end a weekend away.

We drove up from Wellington to spent part of the day visiting some of the wineries. Cafe Medici was recommended by one of the wineries as a place to eat while in town. It's located just across the street from the Martinborough Wine Centre. Try the BLAT sandwich which comes with fries. Just enough & tasty & it leaves you room to continue visiting some more wineries.

Friendly staff and a great atmosphere helped us decide to dine here on our evening in Martinborough. We ordered a plate of roast lamb to share. It was served with roast Mediterranean vegies and was absolutely delicious! The quantity was exactly right.......though it was so good we would have enjoyed a mouthful or two more....or maybe a slice of crusty bread? Exquisite wine for me and a cold beer for him...........A lovely evening.
