The welcome was warm and professional, helpful and efficient. Our cottage was perfect. Calm decor, understated luxury and comfort. The bed and quality linen was divine!
Dinner was excellent with each course beautifully presented and delicious. Truly 5 star service too - smilingly discreet and efficient.
Buffet breakfast did not disappoint with a wide choice of cereal and fresh fruits. The melons were mouthwatering! Cooked buffet was freshly replenished frequently and delicious too.
We loved our stay at Peppers Parehua and heartily recommend it. It is worth every penny!

Room Tip: I am sure all the cottages are tops. Privacy ensured by strategic plantings, quiet and beautiful.

Our garden cottage was well laid out and very clean. It was very private and extremely quiet for a weekend away. Breakfast was included and there was a good selection of cereals and also cooked breakfast. This place is about a 10 min walk from town set in the countryside with a nice walk or bike ride to the many wineries located close by. Quite expensive accommodation but worth the extra cost. If feeling fit you can also have a game of tennis or a swim in the clean pool. We look forward to returning soon.

I took my wife away for her birthday for two nights as a surprise to Peppers. I have to say that we had a fantastic weekend and will be back again. I booked a lakeside villa on recommendation of the staff. In the price a breakfast on both days was included in the package. We found the staff were great, where they were attentive but without being over attentive. We dined in on both evening's at Peppers also. The meals were of excellent quality and the staff were great with friendly service. As my wife had a different main to mine we asked for a wine recommendation from our waiting staff. The waitress recommended a bottle of a local Martinborough Pinot Noir. The match was perfect with our meal.
Our accommodation was very well appointed and found it very relaxing and peaceful. The villa was screened with native shrubs. The bedroom had a great king size bed and was super comfy along with a good size couch in the living area.
In general, we found that any thing we required was done with no problems and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will be returning in the near future of our wedding anniversary, such was the great weekend that we had.

We chose to stay at Peppers Parehua Martinborough for a peaceful, relaxing weekend and the cottage that we stayed in was perfect.

The cottages are very private with tall green hedgerows and fences. The cottages are of a very high quality standard and have space and the comforts of home e.g. large, soft comfy sofas and chairs, good size kitchen, good size bathroom, spacious bedroom with large bed. The TV [although a small screen] was good because you could turn it around from the lounge into the bedroom [very convenient]. The bathroom had a walk-in shower [no door] which was great and had the required amount of toiletries. The cottage was serviced daily [we stayed two days].

The swimming pool was very good as it was summer the water was warm not sure if it is a 'heated pool' and ok for winter.

The weekend buffet that came in the "B&B" price was very good - cooked well and lots of variety. Only downfall was one "very slow cooking" toaster. Needed another toaster to cope with the weekend volume of people.

Really enjoyed our stay - secluded cottage, very private, well appointed quality cottage and had a relaxing stay.

"Yes" we would definitely stay at Peppers Martinborough again

Room Tip: Winemakers cottage is good size for a couple and cheaper

We had a wonderful stay here a few months ago. We went in July (mid winter in NZ) and were very comfortable in our little cottage. Its very well appointed, and super comfy, with a lounge area, small (but useable) kitchen and a bedroom area and bathroom. I loved the fireplace- a nice gas fire that kept the place cosy. There was underfloor heating in the bathroom too.
We had a package that included breakfast and dinner for both nights. We ate like kings!! The food was amazing.
I loved the staff, they were super friendly. They asked about our days and gave us ideas of things to do around there in the winter time.
We would love to go back again. It was a perfect anniversary trip.

We booked a Lakeside view cottage for two nights on the Website at a rate of $312.00 per night.
The room was OK, and the facilities average, compared to Peppers Broadbeach, it was average for the price paid,
Given that there is nothing in Martinborough other than Wineries, not much to do here.Although the drive to Ngwai and lunch at the Lake Ferry Hotel was relaxing.
although we booked a Lakeside view, there was no view, as the native trees had grown up in front of the deck (Room 9 ).
The Carpet/rug in the living area was filthy, with black marks all over it.
I thought that the TV was a little small for the size of the room, and the channels listed in Visitors Information not being available.
Also I would have thought that Free WiFi would be available.
The breakfasts were nothing special, but filled the need.
Staff were very good..

We enjoyed 2 night at Peppers Parehua around NYE. The cottage room was very nice and cosy - made us feel at home straight away. It was clean, and the room is equipped with a kitchenette. Though the hotel is slightly out of town, it takes only 10-15 min to walk to the central square.

Breakfast buffet was good - the standard selection of hotel breakfast buffets but the quality was good.

There is just some details the hotel needs to improve on - especially given the price. Even though we stayed 2 nights, the room didn't get services/cleaned in between, nor were the toiletries renewed (which meant no shampoo the 2nd morning). Also there is a Nespresso-type coffee machine in the room, but after the 2 complimentary pods they cost $1,50 - a bit cheeky for a $400/night room.
