A wonderful experience at the Wharepuke Restaurant, KeriKeri NZ .This converted house has a comfortable relaxed feel, with an amazing and excellent quality food. Very generous portions. Prices are very good for value.

“Outstanding Meals”
Reviewed 25 July 2014

This excellent restaurant is in a natural bush setting. You walk from the car park along a short winding path to the restaurant that blends in with the setting.

The food was fantastic. We started with an entree pate which we shared. A lovely start.

My wife had pork belly and it was the best she have ever experienced.

I opted for the Montieth Wild venison challenge. Excellent meal matched perfectly with the beer. If you are hungry I would recommend asking for more vegetables.

We then shared the house specialty ice-cream - delicious

We would highly recommend this restaurant.

“The best”
Reviewed 21 July 2014 via mobile

In my opinion this is the best food in kerikeri. Yes it's a bit expensive but the food is so good you don't feel you have been ripped off. You come out really full and satisfied knowing you have had very good food cooked to perfection.

“Yum!! And great service!”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

We stumbled across this cafe when we took a wrong turn while going through Kerikeri and we were really glad we did! The food was amazing and the service was excellent. We had our 2 small boys with us which can always be a challenge in nice eating establishment but the staff were really good with them and they loved the food too. It looks like they had some good events on too. A place for real foodies - the Wild Food Challenge dish looked awesome - wish I had tried it! Definately recommend
