“Quite a nice waterfall”
Reviewed 14 July 2014 via mobile

One of the many beautiful waterfalls that can be seen across New Zealand. Couldnt see the rainbow on the day I was there due to the weather which meant it was not a standout for me

“Catch the Rainbow”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

Beautiful waterfall and you will get rainbow colours when the sun is shining and the spray is coming off the waterfall. A short flat walk from the car park with two separate viewing points.

a very nice walk to a beautiful falls, the walk goes through some forest and along a stream. Mostly flat, hills are not a problem and it was a lovely spot

“Pure NZ Nature”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

This was my first sighting of one of the many waterfalls in New Zealand. From the moment we stepped out of our car in the car park we could hear the sound of the waterfall. Clearly signposted how long in minutes it takes you to reach different viewing areas. Definately take the walk down the path to the base for the best photo opportunity. There were plenty of joggers & runners using the track path, one kind lady stopped to take a photo of my husband & I. What a great place to take a run. This was a free sight seeing experience which was amazing. If this had been in the UK this would have been an expensive experience. Well done New Zealand for maintaining this pure natural beauty spot for all.

“Majestic Creation!!!”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

Delightful and refreshing! And FREE to view! The walk to the falls was surprisingly easy. We expected a long walk (thinking you had to pay the price for a great view!) but were surprised to get there in a few minutes. Parking is easy and there are signposts to ensure you stay on the right path. Don't just stop at the first viewing point. There's another viewing point farther along. We followed some other tourists and found ourselves at the second viewing point. These spectacular falls are not to be missed! Majestic!!!
