Having had a disasterous experience at a so-called curry house in the town my wife and I were somewhat apprehensive that we might be disappointed again. However, we had no cause to be worried. The meal we and our companions had at Madly Indian was truely of the sub continent and extremely good. The portions were very generous. I gathered that the chefs were all from Bengal. I only had one complaint - my favourite dahl soup was not on the menu. I was particularly impressed by the use of the traditional cooking pot used to make the naan bread
I might appear to be the first reviewer of this restaurant but there is in fact another (good) review which has been placed at an incorrect location (The Bay of Islands)
The restaurant is open all day but the main Indian menu is only available in the evenings
