Ian and Elaine are creating a paradise for you. Everything is provided with love - beautiful gardens, lovely decorations, greeting wine and stunning breakfasts. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the hospitality is amazing. Thank you very much.

Perfect for families, with self contained guest wing comprising 3 bedrooms, bathroom and living area. Immaculately laid out, comfy beds, beautiful gardens, serene location, wonderful hospitality, divine breakfasts. What more could you ask for? Thanks Elaine and Ian!

Why battle it out for a breakfast table in a hotel, motel or hostel - queueing for the toaster or spooning out the mass produced scrambled eggs at breakfast? Elaine and Ian put on a huge, top class brekky - continental AND cooked, with a pot of tea or even a decent flat white.

The accommodation is cute and clean. There's a nice lounge with really comfy sofa pointing at a flat screen tv and theres a wall full of dvds to choose from. And there's a wall rack filled with activities and offers for things to do in Northland. Although frankly, if you talk to Ian and Elaine, they'll tell you of stuff really close by that you wont find in brochures and that make for an excellent day out.

To top it off the beds and linen are lush and y'know, even the hand wash in the separate toilet was had a great smell. Forgot to find out where they got it.

Obviously Id totally recommend this place as terrific value and infact have already done so.

Give it a try!

Room Tip: Another joy of this place is that they only rent to one group at a time. You have the place to yours...

Ian and Elaine are perfect hosts. Friendly and very helpful. They made our stay in Kerikeri a time to remember in lots of respects.

The accommodation was really 5⭐. Better than some 5⭐ hotels that we have stayed in. having a complete self contained unit was a bonus. With all the facilities provided it was a home from home. (A very stylish home I might add).
The breakfast was all you would wish for.
We didn't try the pancakes, and that is only one reason we have vowed to return.

Ian and Elaine were very helpful with information on places of interest to visit. We definitely saw things we would have missed without their input.

Thanks a million to you both. We will be telling all our friends where to stay when they visit the area.

Me and my partner made this trip last weekend and was fantastic to say the least.
Ian and Elaine were great hosts, the house is absolutely magnificent. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and of-course the breakfast was Divine!!
Hosts were great company and enjoyed chatting about things and also getting tips on what-to-do in KeriKeri. Some awesome movie collection in the house too.
Highly recommend this place to all.

Just one recommendation: go there! Run! ;-)) Ian and Elaine are the nicest and welcoming people we met during our trip in NZ. As simple as that! They gave us great recommendations on what to see in the region. it was lovely getting to know them and staying at their place. We got our own private and luxurious area (living room with all comfort, bathroom, 3 very comfortable rooms) + our terrasse w/bbq. The breakfast was incredible. Every day we got to choose between delicious pancakes, french toasts, eggs or English typical breakfast. Elaine is an incredible cook. I would go back just for the breakfast! It is seriously a 10 star bed and breakfast, very well located to go visit the historical areas of interest of the region. And the price is very reasonnable. Just go!

My husband Tony (Tetbury, Gloucestershire), my sister Catherine (Galway, IRL) and I had the good fortune to be recommended to stay with Elaine and Ian in January 2012 and I can honestly say we had the best of times. They bent over backwards to help us e.g. organising our tours, drop us and collect us from the meeting points and restaurant recommendations. The highlight was staying at their beautiful home and the delicious breakfasts (with fun chats). The attention to detail was extraordinary, too much to go into here but everything was perfect. What a wonderful set up Elaine and Ian have in the Bay of Islands, I cannot recommend it enough. We'll definitely be back.....
