This to me is what a bed and breafast should be like. Quiet and secluded with charm of a good ole southern family. Only down fall is I wish I would have stayed a few days longer. For any city slicker just tired and yearning for the relaxation and slow paced life this is the place to go. Rooms were large and clean with an excellent private bath. The breakfast, its out of this world and you can taste that genuine southern homecooking.

This was our first trip to a bed and breakfast so we didn't know what to expect. Barbara and Cleo made us feel welcome as we arrived. Our room was beautifully decorated and clean. Barbara gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner and then had coffee and Smith Island chocolate cake ready when we returned. The full southern breakfast was filling and tasty (Barbara is an excellent cook) but more food than we are used to eating.
The property was beautiful and we enjoyed walking around it.
To get to dinner or shopping you must drive as the property is located in the country and not close to any businesses. This makes it a quiet country retreat.

Southern hospitality at its best. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Our room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. And Miss Barbara's cooking is to die for! One of the best (and heartiest) breakfasts I've ever had. Wish we could have stayed longer!
