My husband, myself and two other couples were recently traveling from NH to SC and NC. We needed a hotel for just one night so I booked 3 rooms for us in an "unknown" hotel in Pulaski, VA. It was such a nice experience that we rebooked it for our return trip 2 weeks later! When we first arrived, we were warmly greeted by Seth at the front desk. He was the most polite and friendly hotel concierge I have ever met. The hotel has a restaurant which we totally enjoyed outdoors on the huge patio, complete with beautiful "fire-pit tables". The food was delicious. The dining room "Industrial" decor was very nice. Each room was large, clean and charming. The hotel had been a warehouse at one time and the old, wooden, structural beams were left exposed in the conversion. We gathered in the comfy 2nd floor lounge to watch a World Series game.
The breakfast was more than adequate for a "Continental" style.
We were all anxious to book another night for our return trip. Our young friend Seth was there again (as we had hoped!) to greet us.
I would HIGHLY recommend The Jackson Park Inn in Pulaski, VA to anyone traveling through that area.
