Description: Surrounded by the warm feeling of a chic and contemporary atmosphere that encourages conversation, Vinifera is an urban sanctuary in one of America's most renowned suburbs. The unique and sophisticated bistro is a place to have your senses invigorated by every aspect of your visit - from the mouth-watering food to the unforgettable service and welcoming environment. With a focus on seasonal, local and organic ingredients, Executive Chef Bo Palker serves globally-influenced New American cuisine for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. A variety of pintxos (one bites), small plates and entrees are available in the intimate bar & lounge area, illuminated dining room and outdoor patio, featuring custom hand-made Hawaiian fire pits. Sommelier Jason Meringolo flawlessly pairs our inspired dishes with an assortment of over 300 wines by the bottle and 30 selections by the glass poured from an Enomatic system behind the bar. Vinifera is more than just a restaurant – it’s an experience.

Fun mini-tapas on sticks, great Virginia wine selection, and delicious Chilean seabass (when you don't feel too guilty ordering it.) Deep in a hotel complex so not fun to arrive to, but once you are seated you could easily be in downtown DC for quality of food and service.

Came in late from the Dulles airport and proceeded to Vinifera (which is inside the Westin) for a light dinner. I sat in the part of the restaurant that is very relaxing because it is very comfortable and more like a lounge than a restaurant (comfy chairs and plush seating). After a glass of wine I had a small salad which was attractively presented as a mound of greens held together with long cucumber strips. I had the dressing and Stilton cheese on the side. I also had a salmon slider - a delicious small bun with a salmon patty, sun dried tomato sauce and cucumber. The meal was just the right size for my needs. There were many other choices on the menu that looked inviting. I would like to return to sample other items.

We just discovered Pintxos (or Pinchos), the ultimate in bar snacks, and have now put Vinifera at the Westin Hotel in Reston at the TOP of our local eateries list. My husband and I have very small appetites, yet love food and varied flavors. That's exactly what you get with the tantalizing (single) bite-size morsels of deliciousness on their bar menu. We recommend these culinary delights to anyone looking to sample diverse ingredients and flavor combinations. What a joy - and soooo affordable at $1.00-$2.00 per item. Yes, a buck-a-piece! Enjoyed over great wine from a wonderful selection. What's not to love? Thank you so much Vinifera/Westin, for offering something different, utterly enjoyable, and oh so scrumptious!

Food and service are exceptional. I had the opportunity to enjoy dining at Vinifera several times during my recent stay in Reston. I have never had anything at Vinifera which wasn't incredible to eat. They have a great drink and wine list. The atmosphere is wonderful--a very comfortable place to relax. I have never had poor service here...always exceptional.

Wow....loved this restaurant more than I had expected to. We ate so much! And all kinds of different foods and desserts. It was like a food adventure. I love being able to try small amounts of many different things. This would be fun to go with multiple people as you can have alot of fun sampling all the different things that they offer. Really great customer service and lovely atmosphere too.
