The view from the cabin was beautiful. It was nice and quiet and secluded. However, if you do not have a truck or SUV you will never make it up the mountain. The cabin was cozy, but definitely needs some TLC. There were dead stink bugs everywhere when we got there. IT looked like no one had been there in weeks. There must have been air in the water line, as the water was spurting on and off which made it difficult to shower and flush the toilet. The floor in the kitchen and first floor bathroom needs replacing as the wood was soft and we were a bit nervous that we might fall through!! There were three TV's in the house, but only the one in the living room worked. The hot tub was awesome, we loved sitting out there under the stars.

The view was gorgeous and the stars from the hot tub were great. We loved that we could bring our dog.
It says the road to the cabin is traversable by all vehicles. That is definitely not true. We made it, but anyone in a car wouldn't be so lucky.
The cabin wasn't very clean when we got there (still food on the floor) and the couch had a terrible smell. We cleaned up, nothing to be done about the smell. The kitchen floor was really spongy, with one spot, in the middle, that was not a hole only because the linoleum was still covering it. One showerhead wouldn't stop spraying directly out of the shower, no matter how you maneuvered it. The hot tub only kind of worked; luckily it was warm our weekend there.
I thought hiking trails would be outside our door, but it required driving about 15 minutes.
It's a cute place and with a fair amount of TLC, if would be worth the price.
