We are so disappointed w/ our stay at your DoubleTree, that we will not go there ever again. We arrived to check into our room and were greeted very pleasantly. We got to our room and found empty dishes sitting right at my door. We went downstairs and immediately told the front desk. Left the hotel and returned from an event at around 11:30 pm, only to find the air conditioning in the room not working. We called and a technician was sent up. He reset the air conditioner and it began to cool the room. An hour later, no cool air. It was literally 77 degrees in the room. We just decided to not even bother to call again, as it was very early in the morning. Got up the next morning to take a shower and found the ceiling peeling on the roof of the shower. We couldn't believe it. Needless to say, on our departure, planned to discuss this w/ the staff, but of all things, no one at the front desk. We even waited for a bit.

On business in Richmond, I chose this Double Tree within the confines of the Richmond airport. I found a great published rate for a weekend stay. I was somewhat skeptical given this is most likely an older hotel but Hilton has kept it updated. It is a very comfortable and professionally managed hotel. I found it to be very pleasant. The room was spacious, clean and well-maintained. I was especially impressed with the staff. They were very attentive. I had a late dinner in the restaurant and the waiter was exceptional, going my expectations for table service. I honestly felt like I was in a luxury hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and will choose it again in the future.

Terrific Value - great facilities. We had a 2 day meeting there with a small group. The food, service and coordination of the meeting was excellent. I would consider having meetings in future here again.

Completely dissatisfied with this hotel. It does not live up to the name. Check into any other hotels in the area, before using here.The bathroom, were not clean and had broken shower,tub fixtures. The furniture was old and torn and all the lamp shades were broken. The electircal outlits were loose and had holes around the outer plates, making them unsafe. Hairs were found on the toilet and ceiling in the bathroom. The staff,(maintenance) althought trying to be helpful, brought up many questions regarding the cleanliness of the room himself. This was our choice for our wedding anniversary night and was startled and shocked by the room.

If I had a choice again, I wouldn't stay here again The room was okay. BUT very very old and outdated except for the television. Customer service was on point. But it still didn't over shadow the old stale feeling. I even took pictures, but unfortunately cannot upload them with this survey.

This is an excellent place to stay. I would highly recommend the rib eye meal. The staff was exceptional. It was a great value for the price. Being so close to the airport I was quite impressed as to how quiet the hotel was. I would greatly recommend this hotel as a place to stay when in Richmond.

Nice people, no service complaints - this is just a tired old hotel. Located directly at the airport. I don't understand the "Green" decal on the front door - the toilet in my room was an old school 60 gallon flush tank. And - seriously - Doubletree - invest in decent ironing boards. The creaky cheezy board in my room had rope wrapped around it to hold the 59 cent cover on - impossible to iron a shirt.
