We stayed in the lodge building--nicely appointed room with small balcony--note that the “deluxe lodge king” rooms only have showers. Couple of things--guest parking is a gravel lot and spaces in front of the building are reserved for shoppers of the hotel’s boutiques. Room parking is across the street--a little uncomfortable during our 100+ degree weekends. The building has coastal style architecture--in other words, the lobby is on the second level making luggage retrieval a bit of a struggle unless you take a circuitous ramp. The restaurant staff was friendly--good seafood although the steak was merely average and there is a limited selection of wines. The chef/server at the breakfast buffet was very friendly--although she could have used help as many guests arrived just before closing time.
