This was our second stay at the Inn. We travel from Southern California specifically to spend eight wonderful days at the farm. The only mistake we made was not staying longer. Each day was wonderful, made up of great food and conversation and feeling like a part of the community. All the Miller's are a wealth of information about the farm. Lillian has a wonderful knowledge of the area. Can't wait for our next trip! Thanks to all the Millers.

Lovely property in Sperryville, a few short miles from the Shenandoah Forest.

Lillian, Cliff, Lucille, and Jackie made us feel very welcome. The breakfasts were excellent, especially the egg casserole and French coffee.

Rooms are quite luxiourious. Dual shower heads in the bathroom are a nice touch I hadn't seen before. Wish all the rooms had Kingsize beds.

If it was a little cheaper, it would definitely be a 5.

For the past year, my middle daugher envisioned her wedding taking place at Mt. Vernon Farm Inn. With the help and encouragement from Cliff Miller and Jen Perrot, on September 22nd, she and her fiance exchanged their vows overlooking the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and celebrated in the newly renovated barn! Her wedding was everything she had dreamed of! The Millers and their staff accomodated us in every way possible and we I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality and warmth. The farmhouse has been beautifully restored and included the most luxurious amenities. My husband and I cannot wait to return for a weekend!

As the parents of a three and one year old, my husband and I do not often get time alone together. When we decided to head to the area for a three day "weekend," I was convinced it would be so built up it couldn't begin to reach our expectations. I was right. It surpassed those expectations. Exponentially. From the attentive service of our hosts, to the amazing, it deserves repeating, amazing breakfast prepared with many foods grown and raised on the farm, it was more than worth the price tag. The setting, too could not disappoint, affording spectacular views from the second floor rooms. Serene and remote, yet remarkably close to many great wineries- too many to list, and great hikes- 15 minutes from Old Rag Mountain, we can't wait to plan our return trip.

We hated to leave and are already planning another visit. The Inn is a thoughtfully restored pre-Civil War farmhouse perched half-way up a mountain with a breathtaking view of the farm, the valley beyond and the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the front porch, visiting with the horses, and exploring the magnificent barn. Every room is beautiful and unique -- there are no bad choices. Views from every window. Breakfast includes homemade sausage and organic eggs from the farm and coffee from individual French press pots. As my husband said after a tour of the farm, "They did it right in every possible sense."

Room Tip: The Music Room is the smallest and least expensive, but lovely and perfect for one guest or a couple. The Cabin has an incredibly comfortable king size bed, but the stairs to the bedroom are steep and narrow and the bathroom is downstairs. Could be hard for someone who has difficulty on stairs.
