My wife and I decided to go away for our anniversary. We decided on hiking Old Rag and choose Hopkins Ordinary for the proximity to the trail head and local wineries. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. Sherri and Kevin provided us with some spot on recommendations for food (24 Crows and Thorton River Grill), hiking, and wineries. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was fantastic. Cell service is crappy, but they have wifi. The hotel is located on the main drag in Sperryville, so you will hear traffic at times (it did not bother us one bit). My wife and I are already planning our return visit for her birthday. I highly recommend.

As veterans of the luxury hospitality industry we are pretty tough to impress but Sherri and Kevin and their lovely B&B did just that. From the moment we arrived with the welcome drinks and fresh baked cookies we felt comfortable and at home. Kevin and Sherri are perfect hosts, giving knowledgeable recommendations regarding, dining, hiking and local attractions. The room was perfect sized, comfy and clean and the freshly made breakfasts were very yummy. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

We had a terrific stay at this warm and friendly B&B. We chose it for its proximity to Old Rag and because a friend who stays there recommended it. Our room was comfortable and charming, and we had our own porch to enjoy the sunset with a glass of chilled wine. Sherri and Kevin are incredibly knowledgeable about the local points of interests and businesses. They even helped us find a flower supplier for our wedding! We'd definitely recommend this as a wonderful B&B.
