“Cafe & grocery in historic downtown”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

Organic grocery and cafe with a fairly small seating area. One of the few organic choices in downtown Staunton (maybe the only one?). An interesting assortment of sandwiches, smoothies, etc. It was crowded at lunch, and there aren't many tables inside. There are another half dozen tables outside in front on the sidewalk. Order at the counter and yor food is brught to your table. A healthy and tasty choice for a meal downtown.

“small grocery with a cafe”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

The cafe offers a fairly nice selection of sandwiches and salads. It's nice they prepare gluten free items for their customers who require this service. very natural and healthy eatery and tiny grocery store items.

“Wholesome”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

The atmosphere of a natural market is always positive and pleasant. Nice little seating area in the rear of the health store offering unique drinks and light food. Ordered 2 smoothies that tasted absolutely homemade. We do not have a store like this in Maryland, so it was refreshing. Also purchased some postcards too!

“Organic groceries & deli”
Reviewed 18 June 2014 via mobile

We popped in for lunch and enjoyed a Thai chicken wrap, a BLT wrap and a juice. It's hard eating healthy on the road (and I miss juicing) so it was nice to have a healthy meal.

This is a humble grocery store so don't expect to get all of your regular groceries here.

The staff were really polite and helpful too.

“Staunton's Civil War Against Fast Food”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

This "whole earth" grocery and restaurant has cool vibe and good food. Healthy eating, but not just stuffing kale down your throat. I had a Thai chicken sandwich with just the right amount of spice. My wife had chili. We went in before the show at the American Shakespeare Center around the corner (another of Staunton's surprises), and I was a bit worried because the service seemed haphazard. But we were allowed to order at the counter and were then served quickly. Only other problem was being seated right next to where customers dropped off their dishes, a la Panera Bread. But it was crowded, so we were thankful they found a table for us.
