This is a nice family park with lots to see. The museum with farm equipment including old tractors was very interesting. The mansion tour was nice and the tour guide was great. Be sure to go to the visitor's center and to the beaches below the cliffs. Do keep in mind the trail to the beach is not stroller or wheelchair friendly and has many rocks to climb over. It would be difficult for anyone with knee/foot problems and small children. We did not use the cabins. The price for parking on a holiday or weekends is $5. it is well worth it for all you can see and do. A similar park is York River State Park. There are restrooms throughout the park (near the mansion, near the farm museum, visitor's center, etc.) that were very clean. It very close to Bacon's Castle, Hog Island Wildlife Refuge, Surry Nuclear Power Plant, and the Jamestown-Scotland ferry that can take you to the Jamestown, Yorktown, Colonial Williamsburg, and Busch Gardens areas. If you like Colonial history, this is the area for you.
