Great food, Nice seating inside and outside! The only thing a little strange is that you order your food at the bar they give you a spoon and then you go to your table.

We spent the Sunday of Memorial Day wine tasting in and around Middleburg. Because so many of the wineries are dog friendly, we brought our two dogs.
A friend recommended The Hunters Head, and it was wonderful. The service was very human and dog friendly.
We sat on the patio (it's first come, but you can make reservations for inside).
It's a fun set up -- you place your order inside, pick up your drinks and go back to your table. They also have a meal for dogs and a to-go meal for cats.
I had the burger, my husband had the fish and chips and our friend had the chicken fried steak. The dogs had raw meat and veggies, which they LOVED. They had water and we had beer and wine :)
We absolutely loved the Hunters Head and would go back again.

This very old tavern is a charming wayside in the bucolic area of Upperville/Middleburg. It is a perfect spot for lunch or dinner on your Sunday drive, or any old time. Classic pub fare is consistently good and made with ingredients from the owner's organic farm. We have been there many, many times and always enjoy it!

I love coming here on a Saturday after a long hike for a warm tasty meal and a beer. The service is great and everyone there is friendly and interesting. The beer list too is worth exploring. The inside of the bar is like being transported to a great English pub.

On a local garden tour and stopped in for lunch. Had a taste for something really tasty on this beautiful day. What a total disappointment. Maybe a hang out for locals for the drinks but certainly not for the food. The food was practically tasteless. Very bland with hardly any seasoning - I could only finish half of my meal and that was because I was hungry. I do not like leaving poor reviews, but if I could have saved my money and gone elsewhere I would have.
