My wife and I ate at Pacifica last Sunday evening for the first time, after spending a beautiful day on the beach. It is a tapas style menu. The wait staff was intelligent and personable. We ordered 5 items: The tuna, quinoa, etc salad was fantastic and creative. The homemade pate was also excellent. The only tapa we did not like was a squash, pesto mixture. We love squash and pesto, but they did not mix well for us, however, we applaud such experimentation!
As we were leaving, my wife complimented the female head chef and told her our opinions. I would strongly recommend this little gem to anyone looking for a comfortable, cool atmosphere and, most importantly, a chef who seems to be coming up with some interesting and delicious new dishes..

The waitress we had was not pleasant as she was inattentive, messed up our order and when we made a complaint about the noise she said it did not bother her. They kept on adjusting the lighting from dim to dark to decently lit. It took almost 2 hours due to the slow service. Food was OK but expensive for what it was. Considering every thing we will never return even though this was our first time.

We found this restaurant on a recent trip to VA Beach, and enjoyed it so much we went back again the next night. The restaurant has a cool, upscale vibe, with really interesting food combinations, but also has enough variety on the menu for kids to find something they like. The drink menu also has some interesting combinations and offers something for everyone. We had a variety of seafood, beef, and chicken tapas and enjoyed them all.

The martini list is extensive and with a good variety. We had the cheesecake with smoked trout. OMG was it good. I could have it again and again. Smoky and tasteful. The tuna raw, was tender with a hint of olive oil. The oyster mushroom crepe had too much Oregano and shouldn't have peas in it. The pot stickers were light and nice. The friend pickled veggies were ordinary but nothing special. Service is very good but this place is popular and NOT for children of any age. In VB there are a TON of choices that would suit kids this isn't one. That said we will be back and more that just for a 2nd visit.

So if you expect to eat and fill you up you are for sure in the wrong place. If you would like to drink butwithouta great selection and no frozen drinks with a little nibbling than this place is right for you. We had a party, spent 30 dollars per person,i ate 4 shrimp 1 bite of meat and 1 dumpling 1 glad of water. Others had a glass wine. I will not be back.
The service was ok
