Rosie checked us in she so so friendly and provided so much info.
Kids can sign up for numerous activities like arts and crafts and movie night etc... AND they are FREE!!! Need a sitter? super reasonable!!! The pool is very safe for kids 3' inside pool/4' in the outside pool. Jacuzzi, sauna and gym✓✓✓! There is a tiki bar that is ocean front right next to the pools that have a direct beach access. Room is extremely spacious with both a living room and kitchenette and a balcony. An ok drive from DMV metro. I was not expecting much from other reviews I read but what's not to love?! Ok there were a few things. I was charged double for my stay. They said they charged me double b/c with 14% taxes I was fast approaching the rm chrg +50/per day withheld so they charged me double. They didn't slip an itemized bill under the door nor are charges accessible via the tv. Tub was not draining so I had to call for service. Have a large kitchenette but you have to by your own plates, cups, paper towels, coffee it's all empty. Staff were all great except billing practices questionable at best.

The room I stayed in was clean, roomy and felt very comfortable. I would stay here again! The restaurant was impeccable and so was the service. Loved the views from my balcony. Also, they have live music which is a fun plus.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed this hotel. The room was much larger than we anticipated and appeared very clean. Our accommodations also came with an amazing view of the ocean! In addition to the room, the hotel has a spectacular beachside bar, as well as the Trade Winds restaurant. We made sure to stop by for breakfast and it was nothing but delicious. Finally, this resort was true to its claims about a beautiful beach. We spent the entire day at the beach and were able to witness a stunning sunset. Hanging out on the sandbar was a lot of fun too. Highly recommend this location, especially for couples looking for a weekend get-away or families who want to visit a clean and child-friendly beach. Will be returning soon

Room Tip: Be sure to get one with a view of the beach. It's breath-taking

REALLY ???? the handicap parking is at the front of the hotel - yet you have to park in the parking garage that is in the back of the hotel with NO HANDICAP spaces .... That's just the beginning. Only one elevator was working and the STAFF had that taken most of the time. The normal wait time was around 15 - 20 minutes . What a nightmare .. then when you did get the elevator the laundry staff would push you in the back of the elevator so that they could get the huge bags of laundry on with them.

I have stayed here before and this was not worth the 305.00 a night ...... with the amount of walking that I had to do because of parking issues - I stayed in consist pain my whole trip. What a waste of time and money

Room Tip: All the rooms have a view of the ocean which is nice - also a balcony

While we thank you for staying at our resort recently we are alarmed to see that your experience while with us was disappointing. The parking and elevator availability you encountered during your visit is not typical for our hotel. We’ll be sure to research your remarks and if necessary, correct for future. Our sincere apology for not providing you with a more memorable and relaxing vacation.

I stayed here on my wedding night back in 1998 and again in August 2014. It has not changed much, but it was very clean. The TVs are a bit outdated, but they work just fine and who needs TV when the lovely beach and indoor/outdoor hotel pool is right there. You cannot beat the price for a suite either (about $260/night during high season on the weekend). My toilet broke late at night and the maintenance guys were prompt and very professional. The rooms are spacious and the beds are in the room close to the door, while the living area is on the patio side. I enjoyed my stay and for your information the hotel has a shopping center directly across the street (with a great restaurant "Hot Tuna", grocery store, drug store, etc. and it is very close to Seashore State Park which is beautiful and great for hiking and biking or just having a picnic.

Room Tip: If you want a view, get one with a view of the bay, otherwise you will have a view of the apartments...

I found working with Cheryl Wolfe the Director of Catering to be a very good experience. She provided all the information I required and made great recommendations from dinner options to entertainment. Room rates were reasonable. Tradewinds restaurant meals and staff were prompt and courteous. Great private beach area for hotel guests. Catering staff did a great job of setting up the banquet room exactly as I had requested and were very responsive to my every need throughout the evening.

Room Tip: double rooms or 2 bedroom suites have two beds that are close to the front door which can make sleep...
