Description: Our concept's name represents two of our three main attributes: cooking with open flame (FIRE) and full service bar with several local and regional microbrews on draft (BREW). The third focal point of the restaurant is its exclusive 24 bottle self-serve wine station, where guests can select and pour their own wine in three different pour sizes; 1 oz (taste), 2.5 ozs. (half glass), and 5 ozs. (glass). FIREBREW's simple yet highly desirable and affordable menu allows guests to return often without feeling like they emptied their wallet.

“Good food and employees”

As always the food was great and the staff was excellent. There has never been a time when we didn't like the food or that the staff wasn't great. It is a place well worth the visit.

“Delicious, fresh tasting food”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

Our family loves Firebrew. Besides supporting a locally owned business, they have a delicious menu with nothing fried. The wine and beer selection is generous, and they are a surprisingly kid friendly place. The staff always go above and beyond.

“Service Beyond the Norm”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

For a high-end casual meal or drinks and appetizers in and around Nimmo, this place is hard to beat. Service is extremely attentive - the owner will probably stop by your table. Food is top quality. Great selection of wines and craft brew on tap. And for the health conscious, nothing is fried.

Firebrew has become a family favorite. Great food, kids love the pizzas, great mango tea, and love sitting on the patio!

“Casual Dining at Its Best”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

If you're looking for a unique dining experience off the beaten path in Virginia Beach, FireBrew Grill and Bar should be tops on your list. Comfortable and cozy, this restaurant is suitable for families as well as couples. The self-serve wine bar offers numerous selections to satisfy every wine lover.

The menu is varied and changes with the seasons. Fresh local produce is featured. There is no fryer at FireBrew...and the chefs are well- trained and cook each order to perfection. Meatloaf lovers will find FireBrew's version better than homemade. Pork chops, when on the menu, are my personal choice, and this visit's version with a jalapeño orange marmalade glaze was pure delight!

One trip to FireBrew will keep you coming back!
