I can not say enough good about this place. The food and service is top notch. Everyone at this restaurant including the owner (Chris) was excellent. From the host to the server to the food, one excellent evening. When an owner will take the time, on what was a very busy night, to visit and have conversations with every table, he knows that his staff is the best. This says something about this place. Confident in their ability to deliver on every level. The food could not have been better. Congrats on a job well done here.

The wait for a table with a view is worth it. Lots of seafood options. A tad pricier than some other places, but really good food. Decent wine list, too.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant when we asked about seafood in the area. I was a bit leery as he gave us "discount cards" to take. Well, we weren't disappointed at all. We thought the food was great! I ordered the "pick two": I chose fried catfish and fried oysters. Both were freshly prepared, hot, not over-breaded. The salad was fresh and the hushpuppies were hot and tasty. My husband ordered the 'pick two " also: jumbo shrimp and a crab cake. He enjoyed both although he thought Maryland crab cakes had more flavor. His shrimp were huge! He also had the She Crab Soup and thought is was the best he'd ever had. Portions were amply and prices were on par for most seafood restaurants. The location was on the water's edge which was nice. Waitstaff was extremely friendly - outstanding. We will definitely return...

Went here for a late lunch and we were able to get a seat by the window facing out to the Bay. A good idea for a date particularly if you get there in the evening as the sun is getting ready to set. Hush puppies are brought out to every table and these are absolutely the best hush puppies that I have ever had. I got the soft shell crab sandwich which was, outside of Tangier Island, the best soft shell sandwich that I have had. Their much advertised She-Crab soup I thought was just ok. Wife got the flounder sandwich which she thought was pretty good (but did not rave about it). Be prepared to pay slightly more for items (1-2 dollars more for soup, 2-3 dollars more for sandwiches) than what you would pay at other seafood places. Basically if I lived here I probably would not go here on a regular basis, but would come here if on vacation or if on a date. There is a café just before the pier if you want open air dining.

This restaurant came highly recommended by a local so we moved it to the top of our list. We went for lunch when the prices are a more reasonable. We were seated quickly at a table with a beautiful view. Menu choices seemed abundant but in reality were repeats of sauces and tastes. Hushpuppies were served prior to the meal with lots of butter. They were tasty but a little dense. We quickly realized that none of the tables had been set with napkins. About 20 minutes after being seated, a staff member came into the dining room with an arm load of napkins fresh from the laundry and began setting the tables. After asking we were given napkins. Unfortunately the smell of the napkins turned our stomachs. Not exactly a sour smell but definitely an unpleasant and permeating smell. Our party of 4 chose four different entrees: she crab soup, crab cake, shrimp and crab pasta, and broiled flounder. The she crab soup got good reviews as long as sherry was added. The crab cake was very good and full of crab. Thankfully the server mentioned that it is usually served covered with a creamy lobster sauce. We got the sauce on the side and glad we did. We enjoyed the sauce more on our baked potato. The shrimp and crab pasta is a visually impressive dish, a bubbly casserole. The binder seemed to be the lobster sauce -- very rich. "Tastes like her crab soup!" The flounder was served with Cristos sauce on the side. The flounder needed salt and pepper but was well cooked. The Cristos sauce is really more of a relish. Lots of good ingredients but it didn't add much to the flounder. Service was reasonable though not extraordinary.

I might return for lunch but wouldn't want to pay the dinner prices for this quality of meal.
