“Five-star golf in a pristine setting”
Reviewed 22 December 2012

Absolutely unspoiled views and a superb Pete Dye layout that will challenge all handicaps...as is standard for a Pete Dye course, it looks a lot tougher than it plays, but it's no pushover. Pick the right set of tees for your skill level or it'll be a long day. There's a lot of water in play and for most of the course, it's wide open, so wind will be a factor frm the nearby ocean. The greens are true and generally quick. See tips golf tips for hole by hole descriptions. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accomodating. Also, a great practice area--one of the better facilities overall in the VA Beach area. You can join as an associate member and have playing priviledges at Heron Ridge and Riverfront golf courses, two other top area courses.

“Good value course in VB”
Reviewed 7 November 2012

Used to be a TPS Course. Its a good value and rarely do I get hung up with people in front of me. I have always enjoyed this course and it has a far away feel even though its close.

“Best value in Va Beach”
Reviewed 21 July 2012 via mobile

The course is in great shape and very reasonably priced for a course of this quality. With no houses to worry about and wide fairways, the course is fitting for golfers of any ability. The clubhouse, pro shop and locker rooms are top notch. A must play for anyone visiting the area.

“Virginia Beach National”
Reviewed 16 July 2012

The name has changed to VB National.

Great course and staff. We asked for (and received!) associate rates, reducing our greens fees to $40's. We played the day after a ton of rain, and the course was in impressive shape.

We went back for round two, you should too!

“Has Great Potential”
Reviewed 19 January 2009

Great Location with being so close to stores and great restaurants still has a feel of a large open spaced course. Great seclusion from the retail and housing location. Prices are very reasonable for such course. Front shop staff is very friendly and welcoming
