“Our worst Experience”

we got there on Sunday the 6/17,everything seems to be fine until next day, I went to the office to tell them we will check out at 11:00am, it was about 9:00am, my wife left the room last. the housekeeper supervisor saw her living the room and asked her" are you leaving?" she said not yet at 11:00am. I came back from the beach to chek out at 10:45am, and I saw the door of my room opened, our lunch in the fridge was throw out with the refreshments, not a single apology or at least recognized they were wrong ,that they should wait pass check out time to clean rooms and less the know nooone is there. Basicly they told me it was my fault because i did not put the sign ,do not disturb out of my door knob. But for the record, there was not sign and there is not need to do so because I was not in the room. Poor handling of the manger and supervisor and they told me ,they are in the business for 20 years, it is really sad, and the only reason I went there it was because I was only staying one night. he also told me he wil give some money for the sodas but not for the food that was probably left overs.It was special food for my wife which is Vegan. He conclude saying " Ican not bring back the time, what happen it happened you have to let it go" what a wise words for a manager!

We stayed there for 3 nights in Aug. 2006. Did not like it at all. The room and especially the kitchen were very dirty, a lot drops of grease on the microwave door. We saw cockroaches in the kitchen cabinet; as a result we had to look over all out stuff so not to bring them home. Smell everywhere was horrible. Bathroom door was broken. Beds were uncomfortable and did not look fresh enough. Towels (originally white now grey) looked like 50 years old. Not to mention that the hotel was very expensive.

After all, a girl came and asked us to leave 15 minutes BEFORE the check out time. We would NEVER stay there again.

upon arriving to the hotel was greeted by friendly front office clerk who had a big smile and was very helpful and directed me to the nearest food mart. the room was spacious with a futon sleeper desk and tv in the front. Kitchen with electric stove,microwave,sink and good size refrigerator. Hallway with a bathroom that was big and a bedroom that has two queen beds, night stand and large dresser with mirror. The central air was a blessing. There was daily maid service and the staff catered to our every needs. We were only 1 block from the beach but that was no problem. We felt like we were home away from home. We will come back again.

my family enjoyed our stay,we found it totally convenient to walk any wear to the beach ,stores,etc.,we will stay here again.the staff was totally available to our needs.

this place is awful!!the "kitchen" was unfurnished, no pots or pans, etc...., foil under the burners on the stove, no drip pans, what a fire hazard!!!! what was described to us as a two room condo with a kitchen and an extra pull out couch turned out to be a tore up room that had a door that seperated where the beds were and a very uncomfotable futon without sheets , blankets,or pillows in the "kitchen" area----the door looked like it had been shot through and patched up with Playdough, the carpet was gross, we were on the 3rd floor, the stairs were unreal, every landing had a hump in it that made you lose your balance, great when your trying to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs--in the darkness--lighting was terrible, parking was a disgrace---1 car per room--ok--but dont dare leave after dark and expect a spot--its gone!!!then if you complain--of course the owners do not speak English at that point--but you best believe that at 10:50 am---10 minutes before check out-- oh yeah-- he is on the horn then-- telling you to "go now!!". Well Mr Saddam-you'll never have to worry about getting my $150 per night again-- or anyone i know or ever hear mention Va Beach

Upon arriving at the motel I wondered if we should've reconsidered, visually it wasn't the most appealing. Of course at that point, just about every motel in the area was booked or at least double the price.

So we enter the office to check out a room to see if we wanted them (we were renting two rooms), our rooms aren't quite like the one the manager showed us, but we weren't up to the hassle of shopping around even more at that point.

We go to use the coupon that we found on roomsaver and we have to go through this "who's on first, who's on second" kind of process of getting the room. No we don't accept the coupon, yes we do, no we don't, well maybe between 8-10am or something like that, all too frustrating and just unbelievable. The thing is, they should have to accept it because they paid to advertise and okay the coupon on roomsaver. Why wouldn't they accept the coupon? Besides the fact that the person that came in after us was willing to pay $89 and a person after that $120 for a room.

We get charged an extra $10, which was unexpected. We're told it's a beach tax. On the wall there's a sign posted explaining a $10 dollar deposit for the key and remote for the TV, but we were not charged for that. We were told that, that's just for the winter.

No pots, pans, plates or silverware were provided for the kitchen. In my experience, at least a few pieces are provided if there's a kitchen in the suite.

In closing, I wouldn't stay there again unless the staff recieved some intense customer service training and the motel was renovated.


The actual beach was great.
