We arrived Thursday around 3pm, entered the unit and I could not believe my eyes, it was filthy. The Room Attendant ( Tiffany, My Daughter, Myself) attempted to clean for almost 2 hours, and finally gave up. Called Owner ( Bruce) he arrived about hour later, moved us to another unit, It was acceptable.
Please update pics online, Please staff with people who care about your property & your guest. your pricing is quite expensive not to get Top Notch accommodations.
We arrived for our week long stay at Cinque Terre and discovered the accommodations to be worn and not kept up. The floor boards in the dining area had sustained water damage and were lifting(trip hazard). The doors are not secure and the locking mechanism is weak leaving us to feel unsafe. We discussed our concerns with Brad the manager of the complex and he was prompt in moving us to another unit.
The new unit ( Vincenze) to be much newer and in better condition albeit up a flight of stairs we felt the move was needed.
We discovered palmetto bugs in our cupboards amongst our food as well as on the floor on the unit after our second night there. Exterminator arrived to spray the inside of the condo while we were there. This was unsettling on a holiday.
We mentioned this to Brad and he told us these roaches were a problem in the VB area.
Unfortunately, a tropical storm was heading our way and we were feeling less than happy about our accommodations so we left 2 days early. We were not offered any compensation and the owner never called us back to discuss these matters with us.
We will not be returning to this complex.
