“Sure n' be goren !!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 November 2013

Great Irish Pub for an American Main Street in old town Warrenton, Va. A wee bit run down but many call that "atmosphere" and that it has....Colorful flags and décor inside, not so fancy tables or flatware but the food is positively out of this world and the service is great. Wait staff are friendly and help with suggestions and the cook knows his stuff ! We ordered a Reuben to split and a big bowl of potato leek soup. It's a die and go straight to heaven combination and was more than enough for the two of us. Best Reuben I've ever had bar none. We took our time and weren't rushed, offered twice more tea or coffee and it was a pleasure to just sit and watch out the big front glass window as Main Street USA rolled by. You cannot go wrong at Molly's. Her menu is amazing with numerous selections of Irish fare...We'll sure n' be goren again soon !

“Well Hello MOLLY”

great place to grab a drink or a meal after work. Diverse crowd of govt, lawyers, skilled tradesman all hanging out. Everyone was friendly and the owner was on site keeping service hopping.

“A Quite Nice Pub”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 October 2013

This place is great because it's a breath of fresh air from the snooty tourist eateries nearby (Griffin Tavern, Little Inn at Washington,). On this Saturday afternoon around 4:00, Molly's was a relaxing atmosphere offering pub grub. College football games were playing on two flat screens over opposite ends of the bar. About half the tables had folks hanging out and gnoshing. One of the better pub experiences I've had in Virginia.
The fish and chips were surprisingly satisfactory - no greasy, doughy mess here. A nice crisp coating on a fairly thick piece of cod. The spicy chips - pretty darned good! I wasn't crazy about the slaw, which had wide shreds of cabbage with some thin shreds of carrot in an overabundance of slaw dressing. But considering how nice the rest of the meal was, it was forgivable. Service was prompt and polite - A1. Price, including a drink, was $22 with tip. A wee bit pricey for me, but not for the area which seems to cater to the well-heeled crowd.
The hardest part of the visit was deciding which meal to order - that Cottage Pie sounded pretty awesome, as did the Bangers and Mash. After this visit, I'm definitely ready to go back and check those out the next time I'm in the area.

“The Irish is Good.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 September 2013

No Room Next Door, this was a great misfortune. We meet our Family for lunch and had a delicious feeding. We ate the Reuben, Turkey Club, Hummus Platter, Beet Salad and Smoked Salam Bruschetta. It was all Good. This placed looks like a great place to hang out with Friends and watch a ball game too. No Pictures, I’m new at it.

“Trivia night could be fun”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 September 2013 via mobile

It's a Tuesday night and some girlfriends and I stopped by. Intrigued by a passerby's wing recommendation and the sounds of the frit o' formaggio, we ordered several appetizers for our meal. The service was very friendly, but our food was very slow. The formaggio seemed like it had already cooled enough to be tough to cut, the wings were a little dry and the egg appetizer seemed a bit overcooked. I wouldn't say the food was bad, but I wasn't impressed either.

As we were getting ready to go, they started a trivia game. The guy running it seemed like he had a bit of an attitude, but we stayed for a round anyway. That could have been fun, but we couldn't stay longer.
