I would imagine that most people that are considering staying at the Days Inn Waynesboro are probably looking for an affordable room that provides accessibility to the area's attraction and a comfortable and clean bed to sleep in at the end of the night. If these are your criteria then the Days Inn delivers exactly what you want and expect. The room was generally clean, although not spotless. The breakfast included in the rate was generic, but was passable and had enough selection (even when arriving a minute before its scheduled end) to easily tide me over until lunch. The location near the highway allowed for easy access. And the staff seemed about as friendly and helpful as one could ask for when my only interaction with them was check-in and check-out.
On the negative side, the room was a bit dark, as the designers seemed to think that natural light complimented by low wattage bulbs is the best way to light a room. This would have been fine if the hotel didn't have exterior corridors. And if I didn't know better, the bathroom decor and slight mildew in the tile grouting would have made me think I was in a 1980s New York tenement building. But you're probably not staying here to spend much time in the room anyway, so these sins are easily forgivable in light of the Days Inn's better qualities.More
