Wayne and Linda are great. Linda met us when we arrived and went over breakfast. She gave us a tour of their home along with a history lesson of the house. You will have to stay here to find out what the history is though. It is so close to all the historic attractions at a fraction of the price of places in Charlottesville. Only a few miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and Shenandoah Valley. Linda told us about a waterfall off of the parkway. You have to hike to it, but is well worth it. We had a great time and a wonderful stay.

My husband stayed at Belle Hearth for our anniversary and had a lovely time. There was so much to do in and around Waynesboro. The attractions were awsome! The B&B was gorgious. The breakfasts were the best I think I've ever had in my life!! Linda & Wayne (onwers) were so nice and accommodating. Our room was much, MUCH nicer than a hotel. We can't wait to go back there again!!!

Wayne and Linda are excellent inn-keepers, featuring wonderful breakfasts, lots of snacks, and loads of helpful suggestions. We were there 2 nights, the first day we visited the homes of Presidents Jefferson and Monroe, the second day we visited the homes of Presidents Wilson and Madison, all well worth the short pleasant drive from the inn. University of Virginia, designed and built by Thomas Jefferson, is also close, and worth taking the one-hour tour. Linda recommended a wonderful restaurant in Waynesboro (and we concur) The South River Grill. So, try it: the Belle Hearth, on Wayne Avenue, in Waynesboro, owned by Waye and Linda!

We arrived to a warm smile as Linda greeted us. She took us on a brief tour of the 100-year old house. After getting settled in, we were treated to tea, cookies and some nice conversation. Since my husband has food intolerances, Linda reviewed the breakfast menu to make sure everything would be acceptable. They even provided special bread for my husband. The house was very clean. Since our stay was in January, the fire place in our bedroom was nice. Breakfast was on time, delicious, and peaceful. We had enjoyable conversation with Wayne and Linda and are looking forward to returning in the summer when we can use the pool in the back yard. They are talented in presenting a warm, friendly yet professional welcome to their guests.

We enjoyed a delightful stay at the Belle Hearth B&B this past week. Our hostess Linda gave us a tour of the house, which was still decorated for the holidays, when we arrived as well as some history about the doctor who originally built it in 1909. We were very pleased with our selection of the Rose Room. The gas fireplace made it warm and cozy. Breakfast the following morning was delicious--a fruit cup, apple omelets with bacon and biscuits. We had a very pleasant conversation with the owners during breakfast. We'll definitely go back again.
