“Cant find a better deal in Williamsburg!”
Reviewed 10 July 2012

Stayed at the Greensprings Plantation the first week in July. I booked a 1 bedroom condo for $134 a night on Hotels.com but when I got to the resort early and with a cranky baby they placed me in a 2bed/2 bath! The staff was very helpful and the place was HUGE and with all the amenities and space (especially if you have kids) you cannot beat the price! They staff also had a pack n play and a high chair brought over immediately upon check in. I was asked once if I wanted to see a timeshare presentation at check in, declined and was never asked again. Each unit is privately owned so interiors may differ. Sure there may have been some worn spots in carpet or some chipped paint here or there but the 2 person jetted tub, steam shower and private balcony with tables overlooking a lake and trees more than makes up for the lil things that most people would balk at. I highly recommend this resort and will be back in the fall!

Room Tip: There are 3 floors and NO elevators so if you have difficulty walking up stairs keep this in mind!

Was looking for a 2 BR / 2 BA and found on the internet. Actually a decent property, big and a big unit. A king room and a queen room, w/d, kitchen, lots of space. People very nice. If it was a time share deal, I didn't get a pitch and I had a problem with a Bathroom and they fixed right away.

WOrth it if you get a decent price. I pais $209 a night off expedia and considering it was over the July 4t week, was best I could find.

Worth checking out in the Williamsburg area.

The condo we stayed in was a two bedroom and in Building 5 which is far from pool. That was fine with us since we didn't have small children with us. We did have one of the renovated units and it was very nice and comfortable. There are no elevators. We have no complaints with the unit. We exchanged our timeshare unit for this so we knew they might want us to go on a presentation. After we checked in, we went to the welcome desk and I did not how pushy the women was. We had a pretty fun schedule and did not have time to sit through a two hour time share presentation. She even had the nerve to ask me what I would be doing at a certain time when she wanted me to attend the presentation. We didn't get the welcome package because we wouldn't sign up for a time for their presentation. I would suggest maybe skipping this desk for time share owners. The other complaint is the miniature golf. The course can need some updating and it cost $2.00 per person to play. We never tried out the pool but there is an indoor and outdoor which was nice since it did rain and was cool one day while we were there. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: If you want to be closer to the pool, Building 5 would not be a good one for you. It was very quiet...

We stayed at the Greensprings in November 2011. We purchased this deal online nut realizing that this was a timeshare community. We stayed for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom condo overlooking the golf course. The grounds and condo were gorgeous, very well maintained and the staff were very friendly. The condo was very nice, but each condo is individually owned so it seems like they are all different in terms of decor, renovations, etc. It was a great place to stay for travelers to Williamsburg, very close to all the attractions and to many restaurants. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

We have stayed here twice and will continue to return. The grounds are well kept, the condo is still in great condition and well kept. Very spacious and best of all the staff is friendly and stays at a distance enough for one to feel like they are alone and enjoying peace and quiet.

We had the 2 bedrooms connected so a total of 4 bedrooms, 4 baths. It was 15 of us. Eight adults and seven children. It was clean and comfortable. The kids had a ball playing basketball and golf. The pools was very nice. We loved the full kitchens and the close stores. Just an awesome stay....

We used this resort for a 6 day trip to Busch Gardens/Water Country and the historic areas. It was perfect-only about 15/20 mins from the parks but a great property. Very spacious and perfect with a 3 year old. Everything you need to prepare food/drinks is in the kitchen.
The pool and fascilities were lovely! Even a tiki bar by the pool!

Room Tip: If you have a lot to carry up, try and get a first floor unit.
