This is the worst bed and breakfast that we have ever stayed at.. We had the worst hospitality and we never felt at home. Before we arrived, we got slightly lost and called her and she didn't answer. She said she never got a call from us which isn't true because her voice mail was on. When we arrived there, she barely acknowledged us outside and we were told that we had to use the back door because there was no key for the front door outside.
There was no lock to our room. When we were shown our room, she said we could use the fireplace but we chose not to. Originally, she said on the phone that the fireplace couldn't be used at this time of year and if we did, there would be a $10 charge extra. Our bathroom had a transparent curtain on the windows.
My husband and I had to serve ourselves tea in the morning that wasn't even put out with the other breakfast foods. There were never many travel information brochures out and very few restaurant menus were available. When we checked out the next day, we paid for the place on our check card and when we got home, we received an email stating that we were charged $12 for a stain to a towel and washcloth that we supposedly got on there.
When we had arrived, there were comment cards out for the bed and breakfast association. When I arrived home, I called them because the card didn't have enough room on it to comment and they told me she hadn't paid her dues and they dropped her. Also she is in the process of trying to sell her place. They stated to write to their association a letter and a copy to the Chamber of Commerce.
