We stayed on the new 8th floor. Yes it's well decorated but smells of paint. Not enough capsules for the keurig machine and when we asked for more the lady at front desk got quite confused. We also had some confusion regarding our bookings meal options and the lady was not helpful.
Of you leave the hotel and walk right two blocks it is a bridge where the homeless gather, might be problem. Seems sketchy at night though when we walked past in the late evening it was ok.
When we checked out the lady saw we didn't use our meal credits and discounted our bill which was very nice. Also when we wanted to eat at bistro bis and it was closed the staff already had setup a free buffet.
Gym was very average. No cable machine and dumb bells maxxed at 20lb..
