Hilton Bellevue from the outside is not terribly impressive, but once inside it is a different story. Hotel staff is attentive and responsive. Rooms have been renovated with modern functional furnishings. Rooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable. Air conditioning is quiet and efficient. New double glass balcony doors reduce freeway noise and afternoon sun heat. Executive breakfast & afternoon appetizers are plentiful and impressive. A good hotel to stay for an extended period of time. Shuttles available to downtown Bellevue, although everything is within short walking distance. Business center is fully functional and accessible.

Room Tip: Rooms on either side of the hotel are equally quiet and roomy

This was as typical a Hilton experience as you can find. The rooms are typical. The service is good. The prices are a little high.

The property isn't particularly HHonors friendly. I realize that upgrades are totally at the property's discretion, but it's a pet peeve of mine to be told there are no Diamond upgrade opportunities available and then see those opportunities sit vacant for the duration of my stay.

Everything was clean, the staff was polite. If you need to stay in Bellevue, it's a solid property.

We have enjoyed our numerous stays at this hotel over the last 10 years but they sometimes fall short of the standards most would expect from a Hilton property. The rooms are in the process of being remodeled and it appears the change will be for the better but the service has often been flat while their rates have been increasing. Overall, it's a clean and comfortable hotel, very convenient to Bellevue's shopping and downtown districts.

Stayed here for a week on business and, though I'm a loyal Hilton customer (now with Diamond Status), was very disappointed by my visit to this hotel. First things first: the rooms were very typical by Hilton standards--nothing fancy, but nothing was broken, either. The lobby is fairly grand, and parking ample, with an outdoor pool in the back that no one seemed to use.

My gripe was primarily about the service and renovations. For one thing, the executive lounge and entire top floor was undergoing renovations, meaning they weren't able to accommodate my room type request. This made for a rather noisy and unpleasant experience; the best rooms were not available, nor was the lounge for Gold/Diamond members. No free food and snacks; instead, the hotel set up a makeshift area in the back of the hotel behind the restaurant--an area that was even more confusing because the signs they put out at the time made it seem like it was reserved for some Microsoft conference. I was very disappointed to learn that this was the "temporary executive lounge" for their highest status guests. This kind of treatment is rather pathetic, if you ask me; loyal customers who spend so many days in Hilton properties shouldn't be asked to sit at the back of the bus, so to speak. Our "free breakfast" looked like leftovers from the actual restaurant.

I've given this property 3 stars because the service was OK. I complained to the manager about the hotel's issues, and she removed some of the extraneous charges. The bottom line is, for a hotel that's not even in downtown Bellevue, the service needs to be extraordinary to compete with the Westins and Hyatts in more convenient locations. If you're coming to Bellevue, this hotel should be your third or fourth choice. I don't think I'll be coming back again.

I spent a weekend at a convention here and found the rooms and general appearance to be very, very good. The service was way more than adequate except in the restaurant where it was quite slow. Prices area way too high also. $10.00 for a bowl of oatmeal is a bit much. An side order of toast was $4.50. There was a long brown streak on the table cloth which was hidden by the square of paper they put over the cloth on all tables. Also, the two times we dined there we had to conted with dirty cups that had obviously been washed but you could flake off bits of food and we also found a piece of paper from part of a sugar packet stuck to the spoon that was wrapped along with the knife and fork in a fresh napkin. If we should ever return to this hotel we will be leaving to dine elsewhere. The hotel credited my account for the second time we dined. The night of the convention banquet portable bars were set up for us but all drink prices, wine or well, were $10.00 per and a bottle of beer was $7.50. If the prices were lowered to something more reasonable my review might have been higher.

Room Tip: If you want to pay a little extra you can get a view room of the city on an upper floor.

Traveled to Bellevue with our son's middle school jazz band and all 20 families stayed at the Hilton. We all had a great time, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and comfortable, it was quiet for sleeping yet had great community areas for us to gather, and the location and parking were a breeze. I now understand why the Bellevue Hilton is part of the tradition. Will definitely stay there again next time we area in the area - even without the band!

Just one of the hotels that you would use for your business visit... there is nothing bad or great about this hotel ... the staff is good guides you well .. with the business canters and arcades in vicinity it is not a bad option ... the Indian restaurant (Chutney) makes up for the food you would have missed out due to travel... overall a pleasant experience..
