The building was designed to look modern and snazzzzzy -- and the grand arcade does. Alas, it doesn't work very well as a place to show art. Access to the upper floors is by a *very* slow elevator or a *very* long flight of stairs. The gallery spaces are ok, especially on the top floor. Some of their shows since re-opening with a focus on craft have been pretty interesting but the average isn't to my taste.
