We get to Bellingham for cross-border shopping trips several times a year, and after trying a couple of other places, this will be our go-to hotel.

We really liked this hotel for several reasons.

1) The price for a room was excellent. We got a king-bed room with a separate seating area, with a microwave and fridge. We travel with our infant daughter, so the space was great.
2) The pool area, while a bit small, is well-kept. And best of all, the pool was warm! So many times hotels keep their pools on the cool side, but this was bathtub warm. Very nice. Our daughter loved it.
3) The breakfast was very good for a budget chain. More than just toast and muffins.
4) Location was good - very close to the mall, and the various other retail complexes.

The minor stuff - this is a budget hotel. The furnishings are a bit tired, but the bed was comfy and the TV was flatscreen HD.

If you are coming to Bellingham for a shopping trip - stay here.

We stayed there for 1 night on our way to Tacoma. It is right on the main drag in Bellingham. There was a Olive Garden about a block away where we had a nice dinner. It is not the closest property to Bellis Fair Mall, but still very handy. It was one of the best priced for the area. As I am a light sleeper, I could really hear the guests in the room above us walking around early in the morning; may not affect others though. They have breakfast included which was nice and pretty standard these days. Noticed they also have a work out area and a pool. Although we didn't use, they did look nice. Surprised to see it at this property. Staff at the front desk were very good.

Stayed one nite on way to Seattle, wonderful, friendly staff. Very clean and large modern rooms. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Fellow at front desk was very accomodating in giving us a room at back away from noise. Enjoyed pool and hot tub, and a nice continental breakfast the next morning. Will most definatly will be back!

We stayed at the Comfort Inn over the 4th of July while we were visiting my grandparents. We had at first looked at staying at a more expensive hotel, but my mother made reservations at the Comfort Inn because she had heard such good reviews on the breakfast.

We found the whole hotel to be a great value. It was very clean and the staff was great. The only problem that we had was that our room was facing the busy road and we weren't able to have our window open during the night because of the noise.

The breakfast saved us a lot of money because we didn't have to go out and buy a breakfast. Another added bonus was that there was often soft, warm cookies out at the reception desk. What a nice treat!

Very clean, friendly staff. Pool was the PERFECT temperature (nice change - hotel pools are usually so cold). Breakfast was amazing - egg 'mcmuffins', waffles, cereals, hot cereals, etc...etc...etc... Very impressed.
We had a king mini suite, which had a pull out sofa in one room with a large flat screen updated tv, then a small kitchen area, and a room with a king sized bed, large flat screen tv, desk, etc...
Bed was comfy, good pillows, good shower pressure. Lots of tv channels (no disney channel)
Wifi worked well. Parking was safe. Room VERY quiet. Never heard another guest. I was very impressed with this hotel.
There is room service available from a local restaurant that delivers. Prices were not too bad. Very close to shopping. I would definately stay here again next time we are in the area. I can't find anything I didn't like about it except I wish they had in room pay movies (but not a big deal).

We have traveled all 50 states and around the world. We would have to say that our stay----and it was 6 weeks -----was probably one of the best ever!!

We have stayed at many other Choice Hotels and this Comfort Inn, was the best bare none.

The Management makes the difference. They are interested in their clients, excellence and in your well-being.
