Visiting the Wonderful buffet to compare it with the Super Buffet a block up the street from them. First impression was that the service was quick. We arrived there at around 1PM lunch time and were greeted as soon as we entered and taken to our table. The waitress quickly asked us for our drinks and as soon as we ordered she was gone. No smile, no pleasantries exchanged nothing. Remember I said the service was quick not Great. So just as quickly we went to check out the buffet spread and I must say it was a pretty neat spread they had to offer. The food was hot and refilled quickly and the 1/2 hour we spent there we never once saw any of the dishes empty or people having to wait. That was a good sign. The food is exactly what you would expect from a buffet place. Remember this is not A La Carte service so do not expect such. You are not even paying the same price. So I guess you get what you pay for. The place I must say was clean and one felt safe eating here. However with another traveller's review I must agree the Sushi guy was rude and gave the impression that he did not like when guests took the sushi in a random order and he would quickly step out from behind the counter and reprimand people as you would a small child. The soup choices were plenty and it was indeed good. I tasted the hot and sour soup and it was good. Again the selection was wide and waried so it would please almost all palletes. The dessert bar left a lot to be desired. The choice was poor with canned fruits, red jelly and other unappetizing stuff. The food however was okay and the service quick but no smile or courtesy. Guess they believe on sheer numbers to make them profitable. Visit this place once to get a feel of the food and the atmosphere and draw your own conclusion.
