We just got to stay here for the first time, though we'd had several great meals at Keenan's on the Pier in previous months.
We treated ourselves to a corner suite overlooking the bay. It was beautiful, everything to a very high standard. The bathroom was particularly spectacular! The bedroom was lovely with a comfortable bed. We had the windows open as it was hot, woke up a couple of times with the train passing by but they had kindly left ear plugs. We chose not to use them - the trains are part of the charm!
The staff are friendly and helpful, particularly in Keenan's - in fact, some of the friendliest we've encountered in a hotel.
Just one wee gripe - there were no luggage carts down in the parking garage, which was a bit of a pain as there's nobody to help with luggage and it was a big of a struggle. As a recent reviewer pointed out, the parking garage is tight for space so maybe not so good for those with larger vehicles and the elevator is very slow.
We'd love to go back and stay in one of those lovely rooms again.More
