When my wife asked me to "go to tea" with her at Abbey Garden, I agreed with a little bit of reluctance...picturing in my mind a definite ladies kind of thing. That was several years ago and I've been many times since and always enjoyed it and not felt at all feminine or our of my element. The soups are always distinctly homemade with nice flavors and fresh tastes. The sandwiches and entrees are also very homemade-like. The selection of teas is considerable and some are pretty strong (that's a good thing). I recommend the "Evening in Missoula" tea for gentlemen. One bit of advice to men with big appetites...even the biggest tea meal here isn't going to fill you up. Great food, but smaller portions. Its partly an experience to enjoy...so maybe you'll need a snack before or after. A flavorful place I enjoy sharing with my wife and happily accept her invites to tea anytime at Abbey. Real men DO eat quiche and at Abbey it's REALLY good.
