This is a cute coffee place right in the Boulevard Park on Bellingham Bay. The view is amazing with outside seating and the decor is adorable with a log cabin theme. It's definitely convenient when frequenting the park for a stroll down the boardwalk along the bay. The coffee is just okay, pretty comparable in price and style to Starbucks. The service is friendly but unfortunately incredible slow. I encountered this both times I stopped by. However it didn't stop me for going back because it's the only coffee in the park itself.

It is Woods Coffee! Best coffee you will find in town and on top of all of that this is one of the best views you will find in town as well. Enjoy Boulevard Park, enjoy the view of the bay from inside, it doesn't matter as it is all just a little better once you add a Woods Coffee in your hands!

In a state filled with coffee shops, Woods Coffee stands out with beans that are roasted to my taste. Its big, airy atmosphere just makes you want to linger. They were quick to move everyone through the line but also just as quick to make a suggestion if you had a question. Woods Coffee would make a nice addition at back home!

Good luck finding a place to sit at the Woods Coffee in Boulevard Park. On Sunday, May 4, at 3:00 PM my family decided to go to Boulevard Park and enjoy a coffee and cookie. Unfortunately, the college kids have discovered the free Wi-Fi and no "time limit" for seating. The place was jammed from top to bottom with laptops spread on each table, back packs on extra chairs, notebooks on benches and students sipping on their "refillable" coffee cups. They looked like they had been there for most of the afternoon, sipping coffee and doing their homework on their laptops. The owner takes pride in stating that he "encourages students to hang out at Woods Coffee" and makes no "time limits" on their stay. Good for him and great news for the students, but there was NO ROOM for my family to sit and enjoy a quick coffee and cookie. There were people coming in after us and they had no place to sit either. My options according to the owner were to check out the other 14 Woods Coffee locations or as a quick "tip" ask to use the Kiln Room..... It is too bad that the college kids have a nice place to "hang out" but us paying customers get to sit outside in the rain.....

A rest stop for you on your way in between walking to Fairhaven from Bellingham, this northwest style coffee house has views galore. Warm fire, timber seating, and the friendliest staff around make this a regular haunt every time we come to the Bellingham area. The walk up window if you are walking with your dog is a treat as well. If inside, warm up your bear claw and enjoy!
