Free is good.
Very family friendly with children's play area and hands-on/interactive displays.

Allow time for chatting with the volunteers at the front desk. They are true living history.

Lived in Bremerton for 9 years over a decade ago. The museum was a touch of nostalgia for a former sailor, and my former Air Force buddy loved learning about the Navy, ship-board life and the shipyard that was such a big part of my "former" life.

Extremely good view of the Navy through the years at Bremerton. Some very nice interactive displays and a good look at what the inside of a carrier looks like. A different shop of the shipyard is highlighted each month so there is a lot to see and come back for. The museum is free, but worth the cost of a ferry ride to get to.

We took the ferry over to see Bremerton and this was close to the landing so we stopped in. The museum staff was very helpful and friendly. It is a very interesting place and tells a nice story about the shipyard and some of the vessels in the area.

This museum is free to the public. They have wonderful docents who will tell you as much or as little as you want to know. You can spend as much or as little time as you want.

Lots of history and artifacts telling the story of undersea warfare.

Be sure to check out the two submarines out front. They are very historic.
