Our first time in the Columbia River Gorge and we stayed 3 nights in a luxury cabin. Great location for daily adventures and a wonderful place to come back to at the end of the day and enjoy the peace and quiet. Cozy and very comfortable. Great breakfasts and lots of food for those with hearty appetites. Excellent and friendly service from our hosts.

Room Tip: All of the cabins are great options. None would be a bad choice.

Thanks for staying with us here at Carson Ridge Luxury Cabins! We simply loved hosting you. As for the hearty breakfasts - guilty as charged! It takes a lot of energy to tour wine country, hike to a magical waterfall, go whitewater rafting, or just relax. Next time you are coming to the area we will look forward to hosting you.

My husband and I were winding down our extended Northwest vacation and decided to research the web to find a nice cabin near the Columbia River Gorge. What a find! We rent many cabins in the southeast and have never found a cabin as luxurious as this one. We booked the Bears Den cabin. The location and gardens were beautiful and private. The innkeeper was very helpful even though we arrived late. We had a nice dinner at the Backwood Brewery next door. We didn't want to get out of the very comfortable bed but were glad we went to breakfast. The Creme Brûlée French Toast was out of this world. We hope we can return someday.

Room Tip: Get to your cabin early to enjoy every minute of your stay. We missed the s'mores and music by t...

We are so glad you did get out of bed for the Creme Brule French Toast - it is a guest favorite! I am so pleased you enjoyed your time here at Carson Ridge Luxury Cabins. Staying here and being spoiled should be on everyone's list of things to do. We love doing it as much as you enjoy receiving it! Do come again and we will once again roll out the red carpet.

This was our most nurturing couples B&B ever! We couldn't have asked for more. While it was a surprise that the cabins were so close to the road in the little town of Carson, we soon forgot and just felt the peaceful environs of the gorgeous grounds. In fact, it was very handy to have both a general store and brewery/eatery just a little walk across the road. Our 3 nights in the Salmon Berry cabin flew by. Pete and Latisha, the owners, and Staci, the inn keeper, were all wonderful, knowledgable, and very accommodating. You tell them what you want, and they have a way to make it happen! My breakfasts were made dairy-free just for me and they even put a special breakfast "for the road" in our mini-fridge since we were headed out at 5am to climb to the crater rim of Mt. St. Helens. Pete managed to arrange a much-needed, top-notch massage for us on little notice (the morning after the big climb). We river-rafted, ate great food, drank great beer, climbed, read our books in the meadow and on our porch swing, watched a DVD, soaked in our jacuzzi tub and slept in a luxurious bed with the windows open to feel the breeze. It was the best!

From the moment we booked, Staci the inn keeper was on email with me helping me plan our trip--from hikes to great restaurants. Our cabin was gorgeous; quality bed, wonderful jacuzzi, fully equipped. Take a walk up the hill to the secluded hammocks. Breakfast was always delicious and at a reasonable hour. Lovely to sit in the porch in the evening or to sit on the field and stargaze. I'd go back in a heartbeat!
Across the street you can enjoy a great microbrew and pizza. For nicer restaurants you have to drive further.

we spent 3 nights at the Carson Ridge Cabins and loved it. They are the cutest cabins with a great atmosphere. Everything you could possibly need is in the rooms. The beds are wonderful and have great hotel brand bedding. The grounds are very nice, the only draw back is that the town of Carson has nothing to offer. But it is ok since you can drive to wonderful scenic areas, waterfalls, wineries, museums and very cute towns, such as Hood River and Camas. Had lots of fun and the weather was perfect. The breakfasts in the morning are very good and about the best meals that we had on the trip. The hospitality of the owners and staff are excellent.
Loved it and will recommend to friends and family.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Northern Territory cabin, it has its own parking place.

Well we are so pleased you enjoyed your time here at Carson Ridge Luxury Cabins! There is so much to do here in the Gorge - whitewater rafting, hiking, exploring waterfalls, standup paddle boarding (SUP), wine tasting or just relaxing! Having a small market and a great brew pub across the road makes for a tempting, relaxing, 'maybe we will just not drive the car today' place to stay! Do come back again soon.

Staci the inn keeper made our stay and entire trip completely wonderful and memorable. The place is just lovely and the service and food was stellar. She also gave the best recommendations for places to visit in the area, gave wine tasting coupons and best of all, helped me find the PERFECT PLACE to propose to my girlfriend. If you want to see the most beautiful, secluded waterfall EVER, just ask her about Panther Creek Falls. Breath taking, easy to get to and no one around.

This is one of the best places I've ever stayed in the 30+ countries I've visited. You will love it. If you want a private yoga lesson, Laticia, the owner of the property is wonderful. She put a lot of time and effort into making a very special session for us the day I proposed. We did a heart opener at sun rise with a special mantra about abundance she made just for us. Couldn't have been more amazing.

She said yes! I remember quite well the thrill and excitement both of you demonstrated leading up to the proposal, directly afterwards and of course once the reality settled in. Such a fun and exciting time for both of you. May your happily ever after be laced with the feelings you have right now! Congratulations to both of you. I look forward to hosting you again.

We were transported for a few days to a luxurious retreat. Our cabin bore little resemblance to the rustic experience the word cabin conjures! Beautiful surroundings, rustic elegance, all amenities, jacuzzi, excellent bed with quality linens, delicious breakfasts, friendly and helpful hosts. Staci booked our whitewater excursion (highly recommended!) and horseback riding. Dont miss Panther Falls...ask for directions. Would love to go back and take family and friends!

Now that is what I call a vacation! The two of you did it all...and what fun it was for all of us at Carson Ridge Luxury Cabins to be part of your holiday. I am just thrilled you had such a good time here. We would love for you to come back for round two - snuggling, relaxing, reading, movie watching. Or, knowing the two of you - kite boarding, windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding and caving. Just let us know when you are ready!
