This placed impressed us and we travel all the time. Pete and Latisha, the owners get my 3 Cs and L labels. That means it was cozy, comfy, clean and a bit of luxury. We liked the sheets so much we ordered a set and Latisha took care of it all for us. The cabins were small but very clean and decorated nicely. Loved the jetted tub in iur room and we never usually even use them. Food was amazing. You wouldn't know Pete was a geneticist because the good was so gourmet. We had a wonder egg bake each morning and French toast that was to die for. I highly recommend this place. Plus there are a ton if outdoor stuff to do around Carson. We used wet planet to whitewater raft and did tons if hiking.

We visited for our anniversary. Great service, good breakfast, luxury as advertised. Saw a doe and fawn just outside our cabin. We had the knotty pine cabin on the end. Well kept. Don't miss the hammocks. Went to Lost Lake on the Oregon side for a great afternoon of canoeing. A bit tough on your wallet, but worth it for a special occasion.

We arranged for family from three states to arrive and share time - each in their own cabin. The cabins are cozy; fireplaces, all that - checkout their site - but you are in the woods - literally, so don't expect the Waldorf - although I will say, the Waldorf could take a few hints on service from these folks. 5 star service - across the board. Want a fire to sit around - no problem. Want a big fire - no problem. Want a wedding venue? No problem. Want an atmosphere that is premium in setting, service and experiences? No problem. Breakfast in your cabin? No problem. No problem - no problem - no problem. Where do you find that?!!?? Here.

Rafting, wineries, Hood River shopping, beautiful scenery, hiking galore - NOTE: Panther Creek Falls is very close and very easy to miss. Forest gnomes keep stealing the signs - so now there is a PAINTED sign ON the road POINTING to the hidden trail. PC Falls ---> The Forest and woods as they were meant to be enjoyed....God touched this place folks - go enjoy it.

Clever : )

My husband found Carson Ridge as he was researching anniversary trip destinations. He was so cute wanting to please his wife. He found perfection. We live close to Carson Ridge yet many people probably don't know how beautiful and secluded these cabins are. Everyone knows Oregon, but the Washington side of the Gorge is spectacular and Carson Ridge is right in the center! We were so blessed to get the Salmon Berry Cabin. It's hard to express how peaceful and beautiful it was. We were greeted upon arrival and shown to our gorgeous cabin. The grounds are so pretty. My husband loved the environmental aspect of everything. They really care! To top everything off, each breakfast was awesome, And I mean awesome (thank you so much Pete!!) I have already recommended this sweet treasure to friends. We will be back for sure!!

Room Tip: Loved Salmon Berry, Mount Hood looked awesome too!

On a soirée through Washington and Oregon wine countries we decided to stop, hike a bit and catch our breath in a favorite city, Hood River. Across the Bridge of the Gods and a few minutes up Rt 14 our respite from all stress was found in Mt. Saint Helens cabin. The fit, finish, and environment of the cabin is perfect. The tub, walk in shower, candles, robes, linens, bath salts, all accounted for. The grounds are a work of art that fit into the existing environment, don't forget to wander up to the top of the property for a hammock swing. Breakfast was outstanding each morning, always a mix of sweet and savory. We've stayed at a lot of great cabins literally around the world but hands down these are the finest ever. We can't wait to return.

Room Tip: The cabins at the rear of the property are much more private and spacious than the up front cabins.

We stayed in Carson Ridge for one night in the Bear's Den during our fortnight training and driving across the 'top' of the USA. After lots of action filled days and rolling off an 11-hour delayed train in Portland it was wonderful to be greeted by Staci and shown to a lovely little cabin with everything we could want. It was too easy to relax with the fire on, a big bath and enjoy all those beers we'd bought from the breweries along the Hood River. Breakfast the next day was a feast (some of which we packed up to enjoy for lunch on our way up to Seattle). Truly fallen in love with the Pacific NorthWest and the Gorge and our stay at Carson Ridge was a huge part of that. Can not recommend enough!

We just had our family vacation at this wonderful and unique spot in the Columbia River Gorge area. If your looking for a beautiful setting with Ralph Lauren type accommodations this is the place.
The cabins are spacious and include every amenity. The lawn areas are perfectly manicured and the fire pit was a great place for "smores".
The cooked breakfast every morning is absolutely delicious and Pete and Leticia are a wealth of information about the area..
