My first thoughts on this place is that it is most remarkable in that there is a near complete lack of remarkableness. Nothing stands out, good or bad. This is a small town cafe though there are a few almost urban treats on the menu, like the vegetarian sandwich and large coffee comes in a 20+ oz bistro cup.

On overall quality, it would put it on par with Denny's, except that it is so uniquely small. If you were traveling on I-5 and wanted to stop at a place that was banal to the point of being a small town cliche, this is the place. But if you were looking for "diner" food, I would stop at Hwy 12 and go to Spiffy's.

Simple decor, just a few tables, but each time I've eaten here, I thought the food was prepared with care, and by someone who knew what they were doing.
