“a really nice place to eat”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

You will pretty much need a reservation to get in this small homey restaurant!
The service and food are excellent and well worth the wait!

“Amazing as everyone says”
Reviewed 31 January 2014

Wow, can you say the best? We sure do. Read reviews online and decided to try it out when we were in town. We got the BBQ Beef sandwich it literally melted in your mouth. The carrot cake is to die for! If your passing through or visiting this is a must stop at!

“Great sandwiches, AMAZING Carrot Cake”
Reviewed 25 January 2014

We've been to this restaurant several times. The food is always great. It's freshly prepared when you order it. It is fairly casual--you come in, order at the counter and find a seat. The waitress brings the food out when it's ready. It's a small restaurant and only open for lunch. The decor is cute--mostly antique kitchen things. The servers have always been super-friendly and efficient. If you can find room, try the carrot cake. The carrot cake is AMAZING. It is homemade in the restaurant and it is better than any other carrot cake I've ever tasted.

“GREAT find and not far off the FREEWAY!”
Reviewed 9 January 2014

What a little GEM of a place for Chehalis! I believe they only serve lunch but everything was delightful, tasted GREAT, the menu had fresh offerings and specials for each day! I had a grilled veggie sandwich and clam chowder. WOW! I wish my tummy was larger so I could have had something else. Ha! Food portions were good-sized and a value.
There is a small gifty-shop area at the back...all tables are individual with unique chairs, etc.
After paying I saw a sign that said they were offering cooking classes later in the month. I wish I lived there to take advantage of that!
It's not far from the freeway so if you are passing by Chehalis on I-5 midway between Seattle and Portland add it to your GPS and ENJOY!

“Remarkable food!”
Reviewed 7 January 2014

I think this is a lunch-only restaurant. The selections are each excellent. Healthy food, carefully prepared and quick service. There are only about 10 tables and although it's only a block from the freeway, it's tricky to find. If you're passing by on I-5 this is the perfect place for lunch. Old stuff hanging on the walls and adults in the kitchen. You won't find any better in Seattle or Portland; this is a gem of a place for lunch.
