“¡Muy bueno!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 June 2014

Great service, very nice atmosphere, authentic Mexican food... The carne asada passed my husband's discerning taste (he is picky about the carne asada being an asada pro from San Diego and all). The staff was very friendly and the owner came around several times to make sure everything was just right. Margaritas were pretty tasty too. Will visit again!

“Authentic, great food, good value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2014

We were very surprised and impressed with this place. Immaculately clean, family friendly, excellent food, great service. Beautiful view of lake Chelan. Fresh chips and salsa with a wonderful sauce came with the meal. Impressively large menu, including some "gringo" options (like steak and burgers), a menu section for over 55 and a nice kids menu. We did not drink alcohol while we were there, but the margaritas looked inviting. Large portions, excellent food (I recommend especially the crab and shrimp burritos), reasonably priced. $35 included a 20% tip for 2, but again, we did not drink alcohol. Casual clothes are fine, we were in shorts. You would not feel out of place in a shirt and slacks either.

“the best & most authentic mexican meal in a very long time!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 April 2014

My husband & I ate here last week during a visit to the Chelan area. We went there originally because it was located right next door to where we were staying. It looks to be newly redecorated, the décor was very colorful & tastefully done with a great view of Lake Chelan.
The food was so good! Freshly made chips, delicious meals & a very well made Chi-Chi. The waiter was welcoming & efficient.
We ran into a couple who said they were there for the week & it was their second meal there. That says a lot about this restaurant.

“New neighbor”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 April 2014

We own a place next door to this restaurant and are glad to have this building occupied after a long stretch of vacancy which spanned many years. The restaurant is well appointed with fun and colorful Mexican décor and is quite large. There is outdoor seating down below for warmer months. We were there the end of March, so outdoor seating was not open. There is a great view of the lake from the back side of the restaurant. The food is middle of the road Mexican. There are better Mexican restaurants in town, but this is so convenient that it wins points for that alone. If you are staying at Lake Chelan Shores, you can walk to this restaurant. The service was acceptable also. If they intend to make it in this location which is between Chelan and Manson on the main highway, they will have to step up the level of excellence. This will be a destination choice for most people. You need to give them a reason to go there. They are still new so perhaps by June they will have hit their stride. We will let you know.

“Festive Mexican restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 April 2014

Rancho Grande is a lovely, spacious, festively decorated Mexican restaurant under new ownership. Kid friendly. Huge menu selection. Great service, delicious food. Wonderful location overlooking the lake. We all enjoyed our various dishes and went home quite full. I definitely would recommend this place for a fun night out or parties! Would be sure to return here when we're in the area again!
