We Love this place. Have been there multiple times in the last 10 years. The Hosts are very picky about the grass and anything you dare put on it. Can be a very crowded place during the end of July and early August however people tend to keep to themselves. We basically use our camping trailer as a fridge and air conditioned bedroom so we tend to spend most of our time outside enjoying the weather and the lake. The downside tends to be the public park that separates the campground from the lake, which means it gets crowded on the weekends and there are no adult beverages allowed on the lakeshore. However the park does mean lots of entertainment for the kids. Its a quick walk to the marina which is handy if you bring a boat. Basically a short walk from downtown shopping and two grocery stores. Bowling alley across the street is an added bonus as well as mini golf and go karts. There are Boat/jetski rentals nearby as well as kayak, paddle board and windsurfing rentals too. I believe there is wifi available near the office and they also sell ice. Keep your coolers safe at night, as there have been reports of drinks going missing while you sleep.
