We purchased a package through Luxury Link and while the staff didn't seem to know about what it included at first, the bill was exactly right. We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, beautiful scenery and friendly staff. The food is a little pricey so it helps to have a packaged deal. They also surprised with a bottle of wine and $50 dining credit. The Cle Elum River ran right below our balcony with the Cascade Mountains in the background -- incredibly beautiful! While there, we enjoyed golfing and poking around Rosalyn, the quaint town where Northern Exposure was filmed. The only negative I noticed was that although there's plenty of activities for children, everything costs extra. It could get really expensive for a family. For us, however, it was a perfect long weekend.

We stayed at Suncadia for two nights during a week long trip to Washington and Canada. We chose Suncadia so we could relax for a couple of days and it definitely fit the bill. We reserved a studio spa room, which included a hot tub on our patio. This was very nice, particularly at night. This room also included access to the spa and use of the mineral baths. We didn’t choose any treatments but spent a couple of hours lounging by the baths. The weather was cool so the water felt great. There was an open fire near the chairs that kept us comfortable when not in the water.

The entire resort was clean and well maintained with friendly staff. We enjoyed the pool and bike rentals. My only complaint was that our room was not ready at 3:00 pm when we arrived. It wasn’t long thereafter but I would expect a room by this time of the afternoon. This was a minor issue and did not detract from our stay, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We definitely plan on returning.

Suncadia offers something for everyone - golfing, swimming, hiking, fine dining, all with breathtaking reviews of gorgeous skies and trees, as far as the eye can see. Lots of day trips available as well. Stop at Pike's in Seattle on your way here and stock up on fruits and goodies to store in your large (not the usual cramped hotel room) fridge. Washer/Dryer in many rooms, too!

We unexpectedly stayed here for a weekend away and were more than blown away with everything from the staff to the rooms. We arrived late on a busy weekend and were quickly fit into a room and made to feel at home. The grounds are so beautiful that you want to spend all day just walking around. The spa is incredible and being golfers, we found the golf courses fun to play. A later day tee time is advised for the over watering the night before made the course feel drenched. One of the greatest things we found was the onsite winery. Not only was the building magnificent, but the decor and food were enough to stand up to the amazing view. The entire 6400 acres gives you a relaxing feeling and is worth every penny. From the time we drove in the front gate, till the time we left them, this resort gave us an experience that we will never forget and will want to re-live again and again. Recommend 1000x over!

Room Tip: Take advantage of the location and get a river view room. Don't forget about the winery!!!!

Spent a week here. The first few days were great as we had a ground floor room with a view of the river. Third night in we went to sit outside and found a band setting up and several round tables being dressed for an event. When we complained to the manager that our space was overrun and asked for money back for the inconvenience or a meal in the dining room, we were told that it was the hotel's event space. I suggested that if our room was event space then they should have made that clear when they gave it to us and given us the option to choose a room that wasn't part of their event space. VERY FRUSTRATING experience and disappointed in how management handled it.

We hosted three other families at 950 Coal Mine Way. We were embarrassed to find that the BBQ grills were rusted through. It was 4th of July weekend and each of the families had planned meals that we could grill and enjoy on the back patio. We called the front desk and asked that they be replaced. We were told that housekeeping would come by with some clean ones. As it got closer to dinner time and no grills appeared, I made another call to the front desk. I was then told that the grills are the homeowners responsibility so housekeeping could not help us. I then asked to speak with a manager. After explaining the situation to the manager, he asked to call me back after he looked into some options. The only suggestion that the manager came back with was that we take our dinner to the condos and use the communal grills there. This just was not realistic, we were eight adults and seven children. I asked if the grills or even the BBQ from an unrented unit could be brought to us just for the weekend. He said, "No." I felt like we wasted the first day there dealing with this issue. Luckily, one of our friends had not yet left home and their grills were the same size so they brought them along.

Other issues that I noticed included a baseball sized hole in the upstairs bathroom where the towel rod should have been, only one dresser in the whole house, stingy stock of dish towels, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash can liners, and no directions on how to turn on the fireplace.

I'm with other folks on this place. I want to like it but I'm disappointed every time I go. At the prices they are charging one would expect everything to be in good order, well stocked and the service impeccable. Next time I will go elsewhere.
