This was not our first trip to Dayton for this fine dining experience and like every other time we were completely satisfied with the food and the service. From the compliments we heard given from the other tables there were a lot of happy diners there. Since my wife and I usually come on a Friday night we found the Wednesday night menu just a little different. Tomato Bisque (delicious) instead of their great clam chowder and my usual Sirloin had been replaced with a New York (again delicious). Although there was only one waitress on duty we were served expertly and did not have to wait for anything. Our food came quickly one course immediately following another. If there is anyone who has been reluctant to try escargot (french snails) this is the place to do so. They are prepared with a butter/herb garlic sauce that must not be wasted, put it on your fresh baked bread for a taste treat you will not forget. Although they are not served in their shells like the ones that I had in Paris....they were better. I can not imagine anyone being disappointed with their meal at Patit Creek.
