We booked for 3 single beds - got bunks instead in a room that wasn't even ready. When we complained they swapped the room but told us it wouldnt be ready for another half hr (which was about 5pm). When we asked if there was somewhere air conditioned to wait (as it was 35c outside) the receptionist shrugged and didnt seem to care even after being told we had an 85yr old granmother with us. When we returned the keys at checkout we werent even asked anything about our stay, or even a thank you for staying.
All in all a very unsatisfying stay.
We booked for 3 - was presented with a double bed. Had to ask 4 times for trundle bed to be brought in. Bathroom very unclean - grit/mould everywhere. Hairs galore (not ours).
Felt sorry for the African cleaner - spoken to like dirt from the Korean guy.
We paid $160 p/n - worth $60 p/n if you ask me - even then that's pushing it.
Pool area was mowed but needed whipper snipping. Pool was clean.
There's a lot of hard rubbish around the place.
Air conditioner worked well in room 22.
Tv was big enough with remote.
Sheets were clean we think & towels were clean.
Brothers trundle bed collapsed everytime he moved.
Stains on all the blankets.
Carpet was vaccumed but it really is due for a steam clean.
I wouldn't eat at the restaurant... Didn't look appealing at all.
All in all if you are a 18-22 age group just in Adelaide to party it's OK. But young family or for more than 1 night - I wouldn't recommend.
It was very basic accomdation at an affordable price. Quiet location with excellent friendly service. Clean and tidy. Only complaint was the pillows were terrible.
The guest laundy was a bit average. Thanks
We have stayed at Jacksons for the last 20 years and it has steadily got worse-never ever again.
The towels and sheets were clean but that is all!
The bathroom was disgusting and smelled of urine. The fridge was filthy. We stayed for 4 days and the cleaner refused to service our room.
When I requested clean crockery the maid pointed at our bathroom and muttered 'shower',our son was in the shower, she then went next door. She returned with dripping tray of still dirty crockery and threw a tea towel at me.
It was so disgusting we got the giggles and then went and purchased plastic crockery.
There was a continual humming and banging at night(pipes)but at least that drowned out the street noise.
Seriously,dont stay there!
Our room was fine, clean. Our friends got one next to the pool in which it smells after fresh paint and room was not cleaned. We complained and left for town. When we came back the room was still not clean. We complained again and after that our friends got another room which was ok.
